Everything was going well for Norbu, age 12 happy with family and in school. He was in class six and liked to wear his uniform to school. But now, he always reminds that terrifying night, when a bus accident left him physically disabled. Since he started to face barriers in the same school what many other children with disabilities experience daily in Nepal: struggle with going to the school toilet, to the library and classroom. Even teachers in the schools are not friendly to help. Moreover, parents often lose hope that their disabled children can learn like others. Therefore many stop attending classes like Norbu. Now in Nepal more than one hundred thousand children with disabilities are out of school and those who are in school are often in danger of dropping out like Norbu.
